He is a prominent medical scientist and academic leader with extensive experience in medical education management. Prior to his present position Rizayev served as Chief Physician at the Tashkent Medical Academy and Rector of the Tashkent Dental Institute. He is a member of American Dental Association and European Organization for Caries Research (ORCA).
