Rector of University of Gdansk; President of the Conference of Rectors of Universities in Poland
He is chemist and environmental protection specialist. Prof. Stepnowski actively cooperate with several European universities in Germany (Bremen, Berlin and Drezden), Portugal (Aveiro and Lisbon) and France (Claremont). Prof. Stepnowski is a member of Polish Academy Science.
