Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of Uzbekistan
Ambassador Toivo Klaar began his tenure at the helm of the Delegation of the European Union to Uzbekistan on 9 September 2024, after serving as EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia since 2017.Ambassador Klaar holds a Master Degree in Public Administration from Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government and has extensive experience in both bilateral and multilateral international relations.
