He is a specialist in pediatrics and pediatric oncology/hematology focused on the diagnosis and treatment of childhood leukemia. He had studied and worked abroad among others at Medical Center at Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, Holland and at Göteborgs Universitet, Sweden.
